Technology

Wind above. Compute within.

Offshore data centers powered by wind. Designed for off-grid operation and cooling without freshwater consumption. Built in port and towed to site.

The platform

A floating foundation. Space for compute.

The cylindrical marine-concrete hull supports the turbine and encloses the data center.

  • Marine durability — designed for corrosion resistance and watertightness in seawater.
  • Service access — platforms and a central shaft connect to internal decks.
  • Protected compute space — a substantial concrete enclosure.

Inside the foundation

Server rooms. Power and cooling.

The interior

Server rooms on internal decks.

Server rooms sit on internal decks, connected to the access platform by a central shaft. The layout provides clear routes for inspection and maintenance.

Designed for straightforward service access.

Computing & systems

Power, cooling, and connectivity.

Wind power, storage, fiber connectivity, and seawater cooling serve the data center. Internal layouts coordinate racks, power distribution, and service connections.

The operating approach

Designed for off-grid operation.

We are developing compressed-air energy storage to balance wind generation and compute demand. Batteries can complement it or provide an alternative. Fiber is the primary data connection, with satellite backup.

An optional grid connection allows surplus power exports and imports when needed, in a configuration designed for annual net export.

Workload planning

We develop software that uses wind forecasts to plan suitable workloads across eligible sites. Customer needs, available capacity, and data residency determine where work can run.

Storage integration

Storage capacity and controls are matched to the wind resource, facility demand, and operating profile.

Repeatable project delivery

Port-side fabrication, tow-out, and reusable design work support repeatable delivery. Site engineering, permitting, and fiber connections are planned alongside deployment.
